Flying Fish Summer Paddle Challenge 2017

River Palm Cottages is the location for our 2017 Flying Fish Summer Paddle Challenge! It is an incredible venue with on-site accommodations, swimming pool, tiki hut, hammocks, fishing pier, dockage for boats, and a small beach. A very family-friendly location and we hope you bring the whole gang (dogs too!). Fishing pier is right near the action and great for photos! This event is also open to Surfskis, and OC1, OC2.
REGISTRATION will open at 7:30AM, so we can start ON TIME at 9 AM!(*Day-of registration will be available for $70, save $15 by registering early!)
We will be running the Short Race and the Long Race SEPARATELY. Starting off with the 3 mile Race promptly at 9AM! Once everyone's finished with the 3 mile Race, we will be starting the 7 mile Race approximately at 10:15 AM.
Prize money for the winners of the Men's 14' long race and the Women's 12'6" long race $500 Winner takes all!
Afterwards, we like to have some fun!
There will be a FREE kids race (and can provide boards if necessary), as well as, a beginner friendly fun team relay race (*3 person teams, all 3 paddlers must registered). Once these are done they will be followed by lunch and refreshments.
Even if you're not racing, please join us for a fun filled day of Stand Up Paddle-boarding, food, raffles, and SUP demos.
We would absolutely LOVE to make a weekend of this and highly encourage everyone to stay Saturday night as well! We will be grilling out at the cottages, enjoying the facilities, playing games, and hopefully dancing the night away. Sunday morning we will start the day off with a relaxing SUP yoga class before we all head back home. Hope to see ya'll soon!
