Join Shaka SUP Racing for our 2nd annual  “Gun Lake Paddle Battle”, Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) and Kayak race on Gun Lake, in Wayland, Michigan!  Whether you are a seasoned paddler or always thought it "looked like fun", we have something for you.  And new in 2019, this event is the kickstarter for the Midwest Paddle League racing series!  Gun Lake is a great place to enjoy a summer day...start it out with a paddle race!  Beginners and kids can participate in a short approx. 1 mile course  and the advanced paddler can take it up a notch in the 3 or 6 mile distance courses.   In addition, all Shaka SUP Races have a local charity component, so $5 of your registration fee will go to support Gun Lake Protective Association whose mission is to keep Gun Lake beautiful for all to enjoy.  Your registration fee also includes an awesome event T-shirt, BUT ONLY GUARANTEED if you register by Friday, May 17, 2019! 

No Equipment, No Problem!  Gun Lake Rentals are available right next door for all your equipment needs.
