A paddle-sport race to benefit the Friends of Hamilton Reservoir Inc. Lake Preservation Fund.  The FHRA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.

Race Classes:  For all kinds of canoes, kayaks and paddle boards.  

To provide the safest possible experience I have planned the following actions:

• Participants, volunteers, and spectators that have not been fully vaccinated should wear appropriate face coverings whenever they aren't able to physically distance themselves from others.
• Registration will only be available on-line avoiding the need for people to wait in line to register on the day of the race.
• Race numbers and awards will be available for pick-up at the beach the morning of the race without the need to interact with anyone.  
• Each participant will be given an award in their packet (a medal) that will have a sticker where they can write their race category and place.
• Race results will be available online after the race and may not be posted onsite.  There will not be a post-race awards ceremony as there has been in past years.

New event for 2021, the Waterman category!  This event will spotlight athletes that want to compete in two different paddle disciplines.  The  2-lap event will have racers competing with one type of watercraft for lap one and another for lap two for a total of 7 miles.  Each lap must utilize a different means of propulsion (single blade or double blade paddle, or, paddling prone with hands).
