The Inaugural Harvest Moon Paddlefest is a Fall festival for the entire family featuring a full Polynesian Luau, a Harvest Moon Full Moon Paddle, Movie On The Beach, Volleyball, Bonfire and race events for first time racers & kids to seasoned veterans.  Come make history with us and join in the fun at the first ever Standup Paddleboard race in Fort Worth, TX.

Polynesian Luau - A real Aloha experience the entire family will enjoy!

Dinner features whole roasted pig (in the pit), Mahi Mahi, and other savory delights by Fred's Texas Cafe!  Vegetarian dishes available!

Live entertainment featuring the Drums of Tahiti and Polynesian Dance Spectacular by Tropical Productions.  Hula Lalau Ka'Eepa is a power-packed polynesian spectacular with beautiful displays of tropical island dancers, live Tahitian drums and Hawaiian music, ancient Hawaiian chants, stick dances from the islands of Fiji, and Samoan fire knife dances.

Harvest Moon Full Moon Paddle

The Harvest Full Moon is the biggest and best full moon of the year!  This group social paddle will be talked about for years to come!

Festival Fun

We have many fun activities for the entire family to enjoy.  Get stoked with a movie on the beach featuring the thrills and action of standup paddleboarding and surfing from around the world, get your self sandy with a game of beach volleyball or relax by the bonfire with everyone's favorite bonfire treat - Smores!!

Vendor Expo

The Vendor Expo will be open Saturday and Sunday and feature sponsor tents and local vendors.  Check them out and get some goodies for your swag bag!

The Races

The race course is designed to test the competitors skill and endurance and provide a thrilling experience for the spectators.  Racers will be in full view for the spectators for 98% of the race.  The 2-3 minutes that the racers are behind Willow Island will make for an exciting finish!

The Lake Worth Monster (10K)

The 10K race will make two trips around the course.  The course begins with a water start in front of the Lake Worth Boat and Ski Club.  Racers will travel along the beautiful south shore of Lake Worth to the historic Mosque Point and then return and make a full loop around Willow Island.  On the second lap the racers will round Willow Island and make a trip to the lagoon where they will have one last 180 degree buoy turn and a 100 yard sprint to the finish!!

The Goat Man Glide (5K)

The 5K race will make one trip around the course.  The course begins

with a water start in front of the Lake Worth Boat and Ski Club.  Racers

will travel along the beautiful south shore of Lake Worth to the

historic Mosque Point and then return and make a full loop around Willow

Island and then make

a trip to the lagoon where they will have one last 180 degree buoy turn

and a 100 yard sprint to the finish!!

First Time Racer - Willow Island Ring Around (1 Mile)

We are so excited to be the first event in Texas to offer this race category.  The first timers race will give first time racers the opportunity to give it a try and have some fun with a quick trip around Willow Island.  This social paddle style race will be a lot of fun and we look forward to seeing the stoke on peoples faces as they cross the finish line!!

Kids 1K Race (FREE)

The kids race is one of our favorite races.  Kids ages 7-14 will make one loop around the lagoon in front of the Lake Worth Boat and Ski Club.  We will provide equipment until we run out of kids to put on boards or until we run out of boards to put kids on, so bring out your kiddos and encourage them to get involved in this super fun event!

Board Classes

14-0   All board styles 14 feet in length
12-6   All board styles 12 feet 6 inches in length
Surf   All surf style boards less than 12 feet 6 inches long.

All participants required to wear a PFD and leash.
