The Jamestown Double Beaver race will be held on July 8, 2017. Hosted by Tim Dwyer and his family, this 10 mile race on Rhode Island's Narragansett Bay is a true open-water event, with rough ocean conditions likely. Expect fantastic scenery and beautiful sailing vessels along the way. Although primarily for surfskis, outrigger canoes are also welcome to participate.
There is a $30 registration fee for this race. The race is part of both the SurfskiRacing.com and New England Surfski point series.

Here's a link to the course map. Depending on conditions, the course may be changed. Paddlers will meet at the little beach across the road from the Bay Voyage Inn in Jamestown, Rhode Island. Please park on Bay View Drive (across from the Bay Voyage Inn) or on Buloid Avenue. Do not park in the Yacht Club parking lot.
