Knoxville's Three Rivers Regatta 2022

COURSE MAP




6.0 mile course - Start line is the upstream side of the South Knoxville Bridge.  Race starts heading upstream. Take the right hand channel to pass Dickinson Island.  Continue upstream at the top end of Dickinson Island to the confluence  of the Tennessee, French Broad and Holston Rivers.  Make a clockwise turn around the Blue/Green turn buoy located towards river left downstream of the Holston Railroad bridge.  Return to the Finish line on river right at Ned McWherter Park.

24 mile course - Start line is the upstream side of the South Knoxville Bridge.  Race starts heading downstream.  At 6 miles, take the right hand channel to circle Looney Island in a counter-clockwise direction.  Return upstream, past Ned McWherter and continue to the right hand channel beside Dickinson Island.  At the top end of Dickinson, continue upstream, taking the right fork up the French Broad River.  Circle Pickle Island in a counter-clockwise direction and head downstream towards the confluence of the three rivers.  Turn right up the Holston and take the right hand channel beside Boyd Island.  Circle Boyd Island in a counter-clockwise direction, return to the confluence.  Turn right to go downstream on the Tennessee, take the right hand channel beside Dickinson Island and finish on river right at Ned McWherter Park.  (Note:  The blue/green turn buoy located at the confluence is not a part of the 24 mile race and is for the 6.0 mile racers only)
