Stand-up Paddle Board Racing & More! The 2015 Lake Max Challenge is in it's 4th Year this year and better than ever! Known as one of the best Stand-up Paddle Board Races in the Midwest due to our beautiful lake and beach, gem of a town and family friendly activities all weekend long, it's a race that shouldn't be missed! Short Course Racing on Friday, Buoy Racing & Food Festival on Saturday and Long Course Race on Sunday! This year the actual race around the lake, "The Lake Max Challenge", will be moved to early Sunday morning to allow World Paddle Association points for racers on both Saturday & Sunday! This race will have several categories, to allow different paddlers (SUP, Surfski, Open - Kayak & Canoe and Relay Teams). There will be Aid Stations set up around Lake Maxinkuckee for this event in case you need a break or refreshment! Want to try SUP Racing? Our Fun Race (1 lap ~ 1.5 Miles) is for those who want to try racing, but don't want to enter the Rec Race. Don't forget we have SUP Board Demos all weekend and a Swim Raft for the Kids (and adults too)!!!
