Long Creek Paddle Race -7th Annual Brought to you by Tula Paddle Sports - Benefitting 501 (c)(3) Coastal Authority Care Foundation, helping service-disabled veterans.
Open to: Stand up paddleboards, Prone paddleboards, Surf skis, OC divisions
Dates: Sunday, September 11th, 2022
Time: Registration 8 am - 8:45am, Races start at 9am.
Location: Ballyhoos Restaurant, 2865 Lynnhaven Dr STE D3, Virginia Beach, VA 23451
Fees: $35 / $50 on race day.
Format:
9-mile race - Navigate around Broad Bay Island (2 laps, experienced paddlers only), Open to Race SUP, Prone, Surfski, OC
4.5-mile race - Navigate around Broad Bay Island (1 lap, Open to SUP and Prone, experienced paddlers only)
2-mile race - Navigate up and back Long Creek ( heavy currents may be present, experience paddling highly recommended)
*must be at least 3 competitors in a division to receive an award.
