IMPORTANT - Please note that the Saturday sprint races have been moved to Sunday (scratch meeting 8am, races start 9am).  The distance races will still be held on Saturday at 2pm.  Online registration will close at midnight on Thursday 10/9.


This weekend of sprint and distance racing will be held October 11 and 12 at the Washington Canoe Club on the Georgetown waterfront.
 
On Saturday there will be a distance race (6k or 12k) for all paddlers (ICF K-1 and K-2; ICF C-1 and C-2; OC-1 and OC-2; surf ski; sea kayak; SUP and prone paddlers) starting a 2pm. The day will conclude with a barbecue for competitors and spectators.

Sunday will start with 500m masters kayak and canoe sprint races. There will be a scratch meeting at 8am and race start at 9am.  There will also be 200m SUP sprint races. Again, there will be a barbecue for competitors and spectators at the end of the day. 

The entry fee is $25 for one day of racing and the first 75 registrants will receive a free WCC hat.

Please note that there is no parking inside the club gates. Bring you boat to the club and drop it off. There is parking on Water Street and elsewhere nearby in Georgetown.
