Narrow River Race #2 Fall 2023

October 28 @ South Kingstown, RI, United States

GENERAL INFO

The final race of the season - the Narrow River Race #2 is October 28, 2023. Hosted by Tim Dwyer, this approximately 8+ mile race on Rhode Island's scenic Narrow River is a great gauge of your end of season training. With protected waters and shallow sandy areas, the race is suitable for most all paddlers. The colorful Fall foliage reflecting on this tidal river is beautiful. Although primarily for surfskis, other craft (SUP, Outrigger, prone and rowers) are welcome to participate.

Racers will follow a well established process and time themselves.

There is no registration fee for this race but we would appreciate it if you register online to help us in planning. This race is part of the SurfskiRacing.com point series.  So here's your last chance to get some points for the series!  Epic Kayaks will continue their support by providing $200 gift certificates to be raffled off for this race along with the first Narrow River race in the Spring, Battle of the Bay, The Double Beaver.

Here's a link to the course map. Paddlers will meet at the Narrow River Fishing Access parking lot, located at the end of Pollock Avenue in South Kingston, Rhode Island.
