GENERAL INFO

The Onancock Challenge Kayak/Canoe/SUP race features 5K and 10K routes on historic Onancock Creek on Virginia’s Eastern Shore. Categories for recreational and sea kayaks, SUPs, canoes, outriggers, K-1s, surfskis, and a Kids Fun Race. Seafood Boil to follow. Seafood Boil is $17 per person and includes a single serving, buffet style lunch with seafood, soup, and salad (drinks not included).

Pre-registration is $25 ($30 if you wait until race

day). You can pay here online, or if you would rather mail a check,

Post race Seafood Boil at Mallards at the Wharf: $17. Reservations required.

a.m. Mandatory Race meeting at the Onancock Landing Park, corner of

Market Street and Mount Prospect Ave. at the Bagwell Bridge (race

start), Onancock, VA.

On-site registration begins at 7 a.m. and ends promptly at 8 a.m.
Drop

off your boat at the park and you will be directed where to park your

vehicle. Pick up your race packet at the registration table, tape race

number to your boat. At the 8:15 race meeting you should be ready to

launch.
