The mass start for the 5K and 10K events will begin at the timing tower and head northeast up the Chattahoochee River.  Both events will follow out and back courses returning in a southwest direction.

5K - The first large orange buoy along the course will be the turnaround point for the 5K (see the first image below).  The buoy will be visible for most of the outbound leg.

10K - The second large orange buoy along the course will be the turnaround point for the 10K (see the second image below).  Yellow buoys after the 5K turn buoy will provide line of sight guidance between the 5K and the 10K turns.

Proceed counterclockwise at both turnaround points to avoid congestion.  Keep all buoys on your left on the outbound and return legs.
