Paddle Second Chance 2021

WE ARE BACK. Please join us Saturday, September 11th for Delaware's Premier Paddlesport Event at Holts Landing State Park in Dagsboro DE.   

Paddle Second Chance raises funds and awareness for a worthy cause Warrior Community Connect is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the resilience of Delaware wounded, ill or injured veterans and their caregivers.

Race day will be Saturday, September 11th at Holt's Landing State Park, Dagsboro DE. In case of inclement weather or unsafe water conditions, the rain date will be Sunday, September 12th. The race venue will be open at 8:30 AM for check-in, packet picks up, numbering, and same-day registration. The day will wrap up with an awards ceremony and community picnic for all those in attendance.

Your safety is our top priority. We will continue to follow the evolving government mandates and guidelines for COVID restrictions and precautions.   

Elite, 10 miles:  1st $ 400, 2nd $ 200 and 3rd $ 100 Male and Female

• Surfski
• OC1 Outrigger 

Elite, 5.0 miles:  1st $ 400, 2nd $ 200 and 3rd $ 100 Male and Female

• SUP (14' and 12'6" boards) 
• Kayak (over 16') 

Open, 2.5 miles 1st $ 200,  2nd $ 100 and 3rd $ 50 Male and Female  

• SUP
• Kayak Recreational (under 16')

Sprint, 1.0 mile  1st, 2nd, and 3rd medals and prizes

• SUP

Each division and board class must have at least five (5) registered participants to qualify for Cash awards. 

We also have a Warrior Paddle Development program for wounded veterans and caregivers interested in learning, training, and participating in the Paddle Second Chance event. Please signup under the registration section.
