Join us for the first-ever Paddle for PanCan! This will be a virtual kayak/paddleboard 5K with all the proceeds going to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. Pancreatic Cancer has effected many love ones near and far from our hearts and it is time to put a stop to this horrible disease. Registration is $25 per adult entry (ages 13 & up) and $15 per child entry (ages 12 & under). If you would like to participate in the 5K with a tandem kayak, the total registration fee is $50. Each participant will be sent a race t-shirt via mail and entered to win raffle prizes! 

We are sure you are curious about how this event is going to work; so here are more details about how to participate virtually. The race can be completed anytime between September 1-November 15, so there is plenty of time to get on the water and paddle!We have male, female, kid, and tandem divisions. The winner for each division will receive one of our awesome prizes donated by our sponsors. We will also be raffling off a few items! Some of our raffle prizes include a bottle of Chattanooga Whiskey and 2 distillery tour tickets, a certificate for a stand-up paddle tour with Sunshine Adventures, and many more!

The new way to 5K!

• First, wear some purple and put your kayak/sup on the water. If you don't have a board but would like to join the race, reach out to one of our sponsors River Canyon Adventures, River Drifters,and Sunshine Adventuresto rent one of their products. Sunshine Adventures will be taking groups of 6 out on paddle boards to complete the 5k, so hit them up if you're interested in paddling that way. A portion or all the money from the rentals will be going to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network as well.
• Second, have your GPS coordinates for your paddle course and your time for the 5k and upload/send to jesse@rivergorgeexcursions or submit on www.rivergorgeexcursions.com
• Third, take pictures! You can send all pictures and videos to the same link/email above.
