Basically, for the 6 mile, we paddle out to a holeshot buoy, turn and head to the 3 mile buoy, turn, head back to the pier, head back to start buoy, turn and hoof it up to the beach to the finish line, paddle in hand. 3 mile goes to the 1.5 mile buoy and back.
Please note: we reserve the right to change the distance, course, and location or really anything else at any time so please check our Facebook page and sign up to get the latest updates. We use this same format every year but as with any outdoor event, we must be a little flexible to make it happen.
IF downwind conditions exist, we will change to a one-way race alert all racers and inform you of the drop off point and finish line. Bottom line- we want this to be a good time for all paddlers!
