COURSE

The PaddleBattle offers 3.5 mile (should be ideal for intermediate paddlers) and 7.0 mile (will provide a good test for advanced paddlers) courses.

Racers start and finish at the Port Royal Maritime Museum on the Chechessee River.   

Boat drop off is on the "lawn" across the parking lot from the Maritime Museum  

Boats launch and take out from the Edgar C. Glenn Boat Ramp next to the bridge. There is no launching from the Maritime Center's docks.

Spectators can watch the start and finish from the Center's porches or docks.

Course Description - The short course requires 1 loop on the Cechessee and the long course requires 2 loops (includes a mid course course clockwise turn around a SC170 Bridge piling.  See the Course Map below.
