CHESUPEAKE presents Round the River. Race courses for outrigger, surf ski, kayak, prone and SUP on the serene Corsica River from the beautiful campus of Gunston School.

OC, surfski kayaks race on an 8 mile long course, and SUPs choose from 5k and 10k with a spicy dash of buoy turns.

Then bask in your after-race glow by kicking back with your paddle people at our kickin' after-party, hosted by our sponsor Pacifico Beer with live music, prize ceremony, and replenishment from Pura Vida Bowls & Java.

Refund/Transfer and Cancellation Policy

There are no refunds of your registration fee if the race takes place. It's possible modified courses may be offered on the same day or an alternate date chosen, due to weather conditions. 

If the event is canceled entirely due to weather, all registered racers will receive the 75% credit.

If you cannot make it to a race due to injury or some other reason, you are perfectly welcome to transfer your entry to a friend. Contact us to tell us who will be racing in your place.
