7:00AM - 8:00AM - Pre Race Shuttle

Racers are responsible for transporting themselves back to town from the finish line at the Colorado River Refuge.  Pre race shuttle will allow racers to drop their vehicle at the finish line prior to the race.  Shuttle is free.  

Not sure where the finish line is.  We will provide maps with driving directions at check-in.

8:30AM - Mandatory Pre Race Meeting

9:00AM - 11:00AM - The Original Texas Down River SUP Race – “SUP El Camino Real”

This 6 mile down river race is the perfect combination of competition and recreation. Whereas a seasoned SUPer will conquer this stretch in quick fashion, a recreational SUPer or weekend warrior will enjoy a new challenge and achievement. This race is named after the El Camino Real' paddling trail (one of the most popular kayaking and SUP trails in Texas)  This 6 mile trail changes along the way from deep wide waters to shallow narrow passes. Big flat water and skinny little quick spots make this an ideal setting for a SUP race.  The Colorado River is a class 1 river so no worries about portaging rapids.

Start Line: Fisherman's Park

Finish Line: The Colorado River Refuge

Shuttle Service provided before the race so your vehicle is there to haul your equipment back. Refreshments and snacks provided for racers at the finish.  Music and shade provided for race fans waiting at the finish.

12:00PM - 4:00PM - Social Paddle and SUP Games
