Long course: Starting just off of West Beach, racers will pass east of Misery Island and continue east of Bakers Island.  Rounding Bakers, they'll aim between the imposing rocks of North and South Gooseberry Islands towards Children's Island.  Paddlers will round the west side of Children's and aim back towards the start, passing just west of Eagle Island.

Short course: Starting just off of West Beach, racers will head west along the coast until they reach red nun R4 in the mouth of Beverly Harbor, then turn around and return back to the start.
