SUP Sarasota is producing the Sarasota SUP Race Series to promote the healthy lifestyle of Stand Up Paddleboarding at three of Sarasota County's most beautiful Parks. Siesta Key Beach, Lake Benderson Park and Sarasota Sailor Squadron. It is the goal of SUP Sarasota to make the Coastal Waterways of Sarasota County a national destination for Stand Up Paddleboarding.

The Venue:

Nathan Benderson Park, the largest Rowing/Aquatic Facility in the Western Hemisphere and host to the 2017 World Rowing Championships, has been designed for one thing in mind...Flat Water Racing! It is one of the few locations that can guarantee flat water, they even have wave attenuation systems in place to keep board wake to a minimum. You'll also love the ease of access to the water that Regatta Island provides, no lugging of boards a few hundred yards from the parking lot to the staging area here...parking is within a few meters from the waters edge around the Island. Races, Vendor Tents, Lunch, Music, Landboarding Course, Board Demos....all are centrally located within this Olympic Village Setting. You'll love it!!!

Men's, Women's and Junior Boys and Girls Race Board, Stock Surf SUP Divisions

 - Race Boards are 12.6 feet in length with displacement hulls

 - Stock Surf SUP's have non displacement hulls under 12 feet in length

Landboard Race and Penny Skateboard Slalom Course Competition

Free to all Elite and Open Racers - The Compound Board Shop shall be organizing a Longboard Race and Penny Skateboard Slalom Course including a downhill stint in which each racer shall be timed. Best times receive Prizes donated by Loaded Longboards.
