Welcome to Shore Paddle! This event features something for everyone, and benefits Clean Ocean Action and Surfers' Environmental Alliance—two nonprofits dedicated to protecting our coastal ecosystem and improving water quality, among other beach-related issues.
Shore Paddle features:
• 8-mile WPA-sanctioned points race (SUP & prone) with prizes for top finishers
• 3-mile fun paddle (SUP, prone & kayak)
• SUP rentals (don't wait til the last minute to reserve yours!), demos and clinics
• Yoga class
• Face painting, playground and eco-fun for the kids
• Hydration and light snacks (for paddlers) before and after their events
Paddler requirements:
• board leash (coiled is recommended)
• Coast Guard approved PFD (belt style is recommended)
Paddlers will receive a t-shirt at check-in. We will have both men's and women's fits available. Please specify your size when registering.
This event will take place rain or shine, and will only be canceled due to severely inclement conditions. All news and updates can be found at facebook.com/ShorePaddle.
