This is Shaka SUP Racing’s 4th Annual and longest running SUP and kayak race, “Sky an Oar for Guardian Angels”.  Beautiful Morse Reservoir in Cicero, IN is a perfect place to race with the sandy beach and close, long shoreline.  New for our 2019 racing season is being a part of Midwest Paddle League 2019 racing series, and that means longer racing courses, more fierce competiton and racking up racing points....but only if you want to!  We will continue to offer our popular youth SUP/kayak and beginner division under 1 Mile course, but now offer to our intermediate/MSPL paddlers a 3 or 6 Mile course.  AND, if that’s not enough, Sky an Oar is also part of a paddle racing weekend, along with Paddle to the Max on Saturday, August 24th in Culver, IN just an hour north.

Your $35 registration fee includes an event t-shirt (guaranteed to registrations received before 8/9/19) and a $5 donation to our wonderful charity, Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs, a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing, raising and training highly skilled medical service dogs for people with both mental and physical disabilities. They receive no government funding so everything they do is reliant on donations, grants and FUNDRAISING such as this paddle race.  We have proudly donated over $500/year to them the last 3 years.  Approximately 90% of their recipients are Veterans, they are all custom trained for the recipient and are never sold but DONATED to their recipients.  This year we may even have a few at our event.  Come out and enjoy great competition, rack up some series points, have fun, be a part of the paddling community and support Guardian Angels Medical Service Dogs!

No equipment, No problem!  SUP and Kayak rentals, though limited, will be available on site from Cicero Pool and Supply.
