10:00 - 11:30 Onsite Registration
Come pick up your registration packets or register in person at Waterfront Park, right by the public launch ramp at the Coast Guard Station. Remember that registration fees increase if you register the day of the event.
12:00 - 12:30 Demos and Warm Ups
Open to everyone to demo boards, warm up, get wet, cool off, and generally have some water time before the races begin. Please stay in the designated demo areas
12:30 Paddler’s Meeting
Meet Race Director, Jen at the registration table to go over the day's race rules and courses.
1:00 Elite Race Start for Men & Women (sanctioned by the WPA)
An out and back race, approximately 6 miles long starting outside the Coast Guard harbor heading north to Apple Tree Point or south to Shelburne Bay, depending on wind direction that day. If the wind is out of the south the start time may vary since the start line will be outside the breakwater.
1:15 Recreational Race Start for Men & Women
An out and back race, approximately 3 miles long starting outside the Coast Guard harbor heading north to Long Rock Point or south to Oakledge Point, depending on wind direction that day.
1:30 Junior Race Start (ages 11-16)
An out and back race, approximately 1 mile long starting outside the Coast Guard harbor heading north to Long Rock Point or south to Oakledge Point, depending on wind direction that day.
3:30 Kids Race (ages 8-11)
Kids can grab boards from the demo fleets and participate in a fun race right in front of the boardwalk. Meet at the registration table before heading out on the water.
4:15 Awards Ceremony
Join us by the stage to celebrate the top finishers. Time may change based on race finishes. Please check-in at the table for updates throughout the day.
