The Great Chickasawhay Race is back on after a brief hiatus due to Covid. This will be the 6th time for this great event and we need you come out and make it the best yet! We are going to make this a "Fun Run" event with a smaller footprint. Hats, not tees, no cash prizes, and lowered entry fees. There will be some door prizes and tons of fun!

This race provides lots of challenges for everyone. If water is low and the temps are hot get ready for a very challenging 22 plus miles. No matter what the conditions the River is beautiful and the people of Wayne County Ms are some of the best you will find anywhere. Once you have paddled this route you will always want to come back for more whether you are racing or just out for a fun paddling adventure.

 Support will be provided along the river however there will be only one pull out point which will be located at approx the half way mark.

Come by The Stanford to pickup your packet and get all the details on Friday Evening from 4-8. While you are there have yourself a well prepared pre-race meal and something to cool your thirst buds!!

Then come back for the post race party and awards on Saturday.

The race is down stream for 22.3 miles starting at Shubuta, MS and finishing near Waynesboro. We will recognize all standard sit down and standup paddle craft that have at least 5 participants in a particular division.
