EVENT FEATURES

5K Fun Paddle (Estimated time: 30-minutes to 45 minutes)

Compete against friends or simply paddle for the pleasure of it. This is a low-pressure recreational paddle close to shore and a great chance to experience the thrill of racing in a fun and entertaining environment. Every 5K participant receives a finisher’s medal. This is a timed event with Prizes Awarded to Top Overall Male/Female, Top Three Male/Female 18-49, Top Three Male/Female Legends 50+, and Top Three Male/Female 17 and Under finishers in the following paddle craft categories: SUP 12’6”, SUP 14’, Surf and Unlimited (OC1, OC2, SURFSKI1, SURFSKI2, KAYAK AND OTHER).

10K Paddle (Estimated time: 1 hour- to 1.5-hours)

This event is for the more seasoned paddler wishing to test their skill, endurance and strategy. Bring on the burn and share your competitive drive! Every 10K participant receives a finisher’s medal. This is a timed event with Prizes Awarded to Top Overall Male/Female, Top Three Male/Female 18-49, Top Three Male/Female Legends 50+, and Top Three Male/Female 17 and Under finishers in the following paddle craft categories: SUP 12’6”, SUP 14’, Surf and Unlimited (OC1, OC2, SURFSKI1, SURFSKI2, KAYAK AND OTHER).

Rule 7 event (Estimated time: 45-minutes to 1-hour)

We will provide the mystery challenge, you bring the skill!  You never know what whacky challenges will come your way. We toss in plenty of equalizer and speed bumps that it becomes anyone’s winning day! One male and one female will come out victorious! 

1 Mile Kids Event (15-minutes to 30-minutes)

The SUP industry is growing at a rapid rate.  Come out and cheer on the next generation of SUP’ers! This event is designed for ages 12-under and the participant must be able to swim unassisted. One Mile Kids Event:  Awards will be presented to the Top Three Male/Female paddlers but every participant will receive a finishers medal.

7:00AM Registration Check-In: Check-In will be onsite at Fitness Onboard™ located at 165 Ft. Pickens Road Pensacola Beach, directly across the street from Margaritaville Beach Hotel.

·       9:00 AM: 10K Start

·       9:30 AM: 5K Start

·       11:00AM 1-mile Kids Event

·       11:30 AM: Rule 7 Event Start

Awards:Following the final event, join us for an event post party with food and drink at Fitness Onboard™. Come for the camaraderie, share your event stories and celebrate the winners as they receive their awards.

5K and 10k are Sanctioned by WPA (World Paddle Association) The following age divisions will receive points for rankings to qualify for both Regional and World Championships in both the 5K Paddle and the 10k Paddle for registered WPA Athletes Recognized.
