PRE-EVENT: Friday, July 31, 2015
The After Party Celebration will immediately follow the Awards Presentation and will be held at Urban Eatery on the northern shores of Lake Calhoun directly across from the North Beach. Come for the camaraderie, share your event stories and celebrate a great day on the water!
5:30-7:00 PM: Pre-Event Check-In and Bag Pick Up
The 3rd Annual Riverfront Festival is free and runs from 5:30-9PM. Live music, food trucks, beer by local micro-brewers, a bouncy castle for kids and a kid's food truck will all be available at the event site. The Riverfront Festival is a joint production of the Minneapolis Riverfront Partnership, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board and the East Minneapolis Exchange Club.
**Special Event at 7PM! The Mississippi River Boat Ballet**
As the centerpiece of the 3rd Annual Riverfront Festival, The Mississippi River Boat Ballet promises unexpected and previously unseen beauty. The river will be the stage, the dancers will be the boats, canoes, kayaks, racing sculls, rafts, row boats and SUPs! All choreographed by Patrick Scully, assisted by Karen Keir.
Above the horizon, the crowd will see the Minneapolis skyline as the summer sun lowers, painting downtown in changing colors, preparing for the Full/Blue Moon to rise. It should be a beautiful evening! We hope you can join us!

Contact Holly at 612.501.2828 if you are having difficulties locating the pre-event check-in location.

9:00 AM: 5K / 10K Start
11:30 AM: Rule 7 Event Start
12:30 PM: Awards and After Party Celebration
Following racing with a special Hula Performance by dancers from Halau Hula O Napunaheleonapua and a Prize Raffle in between! Awards and Prize Raffle will take place at the event site on North Beach.
Key Log Rolling demonstrations will also take place during the event! All ages enjoy the fun challenge of stepping on top of a floating log in the water! This is the perfect time to give it a try with guidance from experienced log rollers. Kick off your shoes and give it a spin at the beachfront event site!

1:00-5:00 PM: Key Log Rolling Match Tournament
Key Log Rolling Match Tournament for Adults Sport Divisions. Designed for the fastest growing segment of log rollers in the nation. This is the 4th Annual Summer Key Log Rolling Tournament in Minneapolis. Log Rolling is fast moving, athletic excitement that's fun to watch and easier to learn than ever before.
