Friday, September 27th 

• 12:00pm (Noon) ONLINE REGSTRATION ENDS
• 4-8pm: Packet Pick-up & Registration: Tides Hotel, Folly Beach 
  • Packet Pick-up and In-person registration will be hosted at the Tides Hotel. If you don't see us when you walk in, just ask the front-desk as we may be in the Pier view event space
• Clinics
  • 5-6:30PM: Clinic with Zach Rounsaville of Seafit coaching 
    • Location: Beach side of the Tides @ Folly beach

    • Description: Zach, one of the top 100 paddlers in the world is hosting a clinic that is perfect for paddlers of all levels who are looking to have their best race ever or just want to be a better paddler! The clinic will  be ~90 minutes and include an on land portion covering theory; then immediately put that theory into action on the water! The focus will be on beach starts, traversing waves, and general paddling efficiency to get you ready for race day!.   • 5-7:PM: Flying Fish Board Co Demo 
    • Location: Beach side of the Tides @ Folly beach
    • Description: Come try out your next board with the Flying Fish team on Friday evening on the beach in front of the Tides Hotel

  • 5-7:PM: Open Practice Session
    
    • Location: Beach side of the Tides @ Folly 
    • Description: Open to whoever wants to practice ocean starts/finishes
  • 6-8PM: Drinks on the Deck @ Blu 
    • Location: Outside deck of Blu (attached to Tides Hotel) overlooking the beach / Folly Beach Pier
    • Description: Join some friends for a relaxing drink on the deck at Blu and discuss race strategies or just kick back and chill until the sun goes down

Saturday, September 28th

• NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!!!  PACKET PICKUP ONLY!!!
• Chucktown Showdown Main Event @ Folly Beach County Park
  • 7:00AM: Racer Check-in @ Pelican Pavilion
  • 7:30AM: Mandatory Racer Safety Meeting @ Pelican Pavilion
  • 7:45AM: Racers make way to the beach
  • Races: Note the earlier start times
    • 8:05AM: 9-Mile START
    • 8:10AM: ~4-Mile START
    • 11:00AM: Kids Ocean Course  START
  • ~10:30AM: Lunch is ready!
  • ~12:00pm: Awards Ceremony
  • Raffle to follow the Awards Ceremony
• After Party
  • 7-Until: WikiWiki Sandbar, Folly Beach SC
    • The Official after-party of the 2019 Chucktown Showdown will be held in the Tiki Lounge of the WikiWiki Sandbar!

Sunday, September 29th

• 3rd Annual Chucktown SUP Surf Contest
  • Folly Beach Pier
    • ~8AM: Setup / Review Rules
    • 8:30AM:  Comp begins

This is an informal SUP Surf Comp. Judging is performed by an experienced surf judge + a rotation of fellow contestants. Prizes will be given out to the top 3 contestants. Participants can sign-up as part of registration on PaddleGuru or by reaching out to us at info@chucktownShowdown.org.
