Aquatic Cove Park at Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco, California

Parking May be challenging. Here are some tips. 

• First come early and score a spot in the Aquatic Park Lot. It’s a pay lot 24 x 7 with electronic payments taken. Credit Card or Mobile Phone App options..
• Lot full? Drop your board off at the Event site where we will have a staging area set aside. Then proceed to park in the Ghirardelli Square parking garage on Larkin Street just above the event site.
• Driving a massive Sprinter? Park in the Fort Mason Lot and paddle )or walk) to the event site. You can of course drop your gear off first if you want to walk/ It’s a short ¼ mile walk over a beautiful path to get back to the event site from Fort Mason. 
• Because the event is on a Sunday most of the area is free from parking tickets. Please read all street signs to be sure. The secret parking spot for large cars/sprinters is the Hyde Street Hill. It’s a short walk to the event site from there. It's free and usually pretty wide open for big rigs. The section of Hyde St from Bay to Chestnut usually has great parking. If you’re from our era you will recognize this as the Rice-A-Roni hill.
• Park at the 655 Beach Street Parking Garage. Close to the event site but not good for Vans. Drop your gear off first at the event site so that you will fit in to the Garage.

Race Event Last Minute Details and Reminders:

• PFD's (Lifejackets) and Leashes are MANDATORY to race
• Juniors Race: Kids 12 & under must wear a life vest to race
