Battle of the Bay 2017

COURSE MAP
The course is approximately 5.3 miles long. We’ll start off the dock at Conanicut Yacht Club, head east across
the bay around the gravel spit that extends from the north end of Rose
Island, proceed around Goat Island in Newport Harbor, head back across
the bay to Buoy G11 (the buoy nearest Clingstone – the House on the
Rock), then return to finish at the Yacht Club dock. There will be boat
traffic to deal with, especially around Goat Island. Naturally, the
course may be adjusted if the conditions of the day require it. Launch and recover your boats from the beach across from Bay Voyage Inn (not from the Yacht Club ramp).
