2015 OCEAN FEST paddle race course: Length is 5K = 2 laps. Course is subject to change due to weather & water conditions. Galveston Beach Patrol will have FULL AUTHORITY to make final changes on race day. This fun course is designed to challenge both beginner and seasoned paddlers. SUP Race will be a beach start and beach finish. Kayak race will be a water start. The entire course is visible to spectators all along beach. Water safety teams will be in the water at all times. Competitors are *REQUIRED* to wear PFD's during the race and board leashes for SUP competitors.
