The Music City SUP (and kayak and prone) Race is back for 2016! We're now part of the Southern Stoke Series and presented by Ryman Hospitality Properties.
This race is a community paddling event produced by a number of local paddling outfitters. Proceeds from the race benefit the Cumberland River Compact, which works to protect our local watershed.
We'll race next to the downtown Nashville skyline in two events, open to everyone from first-time racers to pros:
• 2-Mile Race (two loops, with 5 turns each, $50)
• 6-Mile Elite Race (six loops, $60)
Both races are open to SUP, kayak and prone paddlers, hard boards/boats and inflatables.
Racers who register in advance will be eligible to win a BOTE board from our sponsor, SweetWater Brewing Co.
And! All racers will receive a 10% discount off registration for the Rock Island Paddle Rampage Sept. 4, thanks to sponsor Hardwin Adventures.
River Queen Voyages and Cumberland Kayak have rental kayaks available for this race. You must contact them directly to make a reservation, in addition to registering for the race. Chattanooga Paddleboards has race boards available for rent.
