2nd leg = 0.05mi (250')
3rd leg = 0.39mi (2100')
4th leg = 0.05mi (250')

1 mile lap w/ 5 turns
Launch is from the sloped concrete and grass "beach" closer to Nissan Stadium (not from the docks where we were in 2013). Those who don't want to do the buoy turn in the middle of the "W" can choose to around bridge (starting line) and back. That's slightly longer but with fewer turns.
BODY
MARKING:
Racers will be body marked instead of race numbers. We
will have body marking at packet pickup the morning of the race. Race numbers need to be at least 3” on the
right side of your body. We will need to mark your body below your race shirt
or shorts. It’s imperative that the timers see your race number when you
finish.
Racers will be allowed in the water to warm up by 8:45 a.m.,
immediately following national anthem.
Launch:
Racers will launch on and off boards from the sloped concrete "beach" (not the dock) on the east side of the river. You will paddle up river
(away from bridge columns) to await your air horn start behind the start line. We
will have volunteers along the dock to help you safely come off the water. The
volunteers can carry your board to the staging area if you need help.
