Directions to City Island: 

From I-75 take Fruitville Road, Exit 210, drive WEST on Fruitville Road approx. 5.8 miles until you run into US 41. Turn South (left) on North Tamiami Trail/US 41 (traffic light). Drive approx. 0.2 miles and turn WEST (right) onto N. Gulfstream Ave/SR 789 and head over the Ringling Bridge. Once you enter St. Armands Circle, make your first right on the Circle and continue to follow Gulfstream north towards Longboat Key. Just before the bridge to Longboat Key, turn EAST (right) on Ken Thompson Pkwy. Proceed past Mote Marine Aquarium until the Pkwy ends in a round about at the end of the Peninsula. The Sailing Squadron will be on your right as the round about is one way. Enter the Sailing Squadron and drop off boards near the check in desk, located in the Main Clubhouse. Follow Staff instructions for parking.

Rooms available on Friday October 9 - 12 at a discounted rate of $169.00 per night for a Deluxe Kitchenette Room or $199.00 for a Beach Front Junior Suite. 

You have 2 choices..you can pull into the Sailing Squadron and drop off the boards by the Clubhouse which is where the check in, captains meeting and starting point are located...then drive back out to the Traffic Circle to park (100 yards away). Or...you can park in the grass of the Traffic Circle and ferry your board to the Race Staging area. It is very close by and you will walk 100 yards either way...but everything is super close and contained..wonderful venue for a fun afternoon!
