The 5 mile race course will be a designed to keep paddle craft out of the vegetation growth on Silver Lake.  The course may be altered if aquatic weeds are present to keep paddlers in clean water. The "Kayak for Candy" group will paddle the perimeter of the lake, stopping periodically at docks to receive candy.
